    Marybeth is currently the Assistant Director for HRIS at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She began working in the Human Resource field in 1989 with First National Bank of Highland. She started working at Marist College in 1993. Marybeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Organizational Communications and Human Resource Management from Marist College. She is a member of SHRM and has had a long relationship with MHHRA chapter previously holding various board positions. In addition, she works with the Marist College SHRM Student Chapter as a co-advisor.

    Tom Jozefowicz

    Tom is the Vice President, Human Resources for Williams Lumber & Home Centers.  He held positions in Retail Management before moving to the Human Resource profession in 2006.  His position at Williams Lumber has afforded him experience in all areas of the Human Resource body of knowledge.  Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego and has earned his SPHR Certification and SHRM-SCP Certification.

    Julie Stainton is the Community Relations and Marketing Manager for Independent Living, Inc. in Newburgh, NY.  She has previous experience in the Human Resource (HR) field working for Here’s Help Staffing and Recruiting, as a HR Coordinator for Dewkett Engineering, and as a Recruiter for Marist College.  Julie is also an instructor for the certification preparation course designed for SHRM credential candidates.  Julie earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, MBA, and Certification in Professional HR Management from Marist College. Also, she has earned her SHRM-CP Certification. Julie is a member of SHRM and excited to be serving on the Board with the MHHRA Chapter.

    Jennie Owen, SHRM-CP

    Jennie Owen is the Benefits Assistant in the Office of Human Resources at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She joined the Human Resources team in 2012 following five years in the financial industry. Jennie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Human Resources concentration and a Master of Arts in Communication both from Marist College. She recently received her SHRM Certified Professional certification. As both a Marist employee and Marist alumni, Jennie is well positioned to promote the chapter’s college relations initiatives. She has been a SHRM member since 2013 and is a current member of the MHHRA.

    Erin McGuinness, SHRM-SCP

    Erin McGuinness has held several management positions throughout her career in human resources. She has supported various employee groups including union members, sales teams, operations, faculty members, administration, management and executive leadership. She is part of the Marist College Human Resources team, currently serving as Benefits Manager. Erin is also an instructor for the certification preparation course designed for SHRM credential candidates. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Montclair State University, and has earned her PHR Certification and SHRM-SCP Certification.

    Foundation Director

    Amy VanTassel

    Amy VanTassel is the Industrial Staffing Division Manager for Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions based out of Poughkeepsie NY. Previously she worked as a General Manager for Trefz Corporation. Amy has a strong background in recruitment and employee retention. She has a Bachelor's degree in Global History from the University at Albany and minored in Adolescent Education. Amy is a new member of SHRM.

    Cassandra Paupst

    Cassandra Paupst is the AS/Credit Analyist at Orange Bank & Trust Company in Middletown. Cassandra has been in the Banking field since 2008 and has held various positions in Retail Banking and Commercial Lending. Cassandra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Marist College and is currently pursing a Masters Degree in Information Systems Management at Marist College with an Advanced Certificate in Business Analytics. Cassandra was the Vice President of the Marist SHRM Club and was a member of SHRM in 2007.

    Nicole Kommer is the Human Resources Generalist at Emergency One Urgent Care & Occupational Health Center in Kingston, NY. She is a recent graduate of Mount Saint Mary College and joined SHRM’s Mid Hudson Chapter in May of 2016.

    Christina A. Myers, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

    Christina Myers is the AVP, Director of Human Resources for Rondout Savings Bank in Kingston, NY. Previously she was the Director, Human Resources & EHS for Chemprene in Beacon, NY and the HR Business Parnter for Rhinebeck Bank. Christina has a diverse background and experience in all facets of HR. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Marist College and her Master’s Degree in Human Resources & Employment Relations concentrating in Staffing, Training and Development from Pennsylvania State University. Christina was President of the Marist SHRM Club in 2007 and has been a member of SHRM and MHHRA since 2007.
