    Labor Relations: The Future of Unions and their Impact on New York State’s Private Sector.

     According to a recent study by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Union density is around 24% of the private sector workforce in New York State, compared to the national average of just 6.9%. Participants in our panel discussion will learn techniques to create a consensual process when working within a union environment. The current process by which a union comes into the workplace and the potential effect of EFCA. They will have insight from both a Manager’s and a Union Organizer perspective, and learn about the role the FMCS can play in creating a work agreement.
