Bullying and Violence in the workplace are becoming more common.  As an HR professional do you know what to do?  A recent SHRM survey finding on workplace bullying and violence indicated that "one-half (51%) of organizations reported that there had been incidents of bullying in their workplace. The three most common outcomes of bullying incidents that organizations reported were decreased morale (68%), increased stress and/or depression levels (48%) and decreased trust among co-workers (45%).  It’s important to act quickly in cases of workplace violence.  Addressing bullying can be difficult if you aren’t properly trained.  It’s important your supervisors are trained and ask the right questions to help identify employees who may be entitles to job protections due to domestic violence or other sensitive situations.  Come learn more and be properly prepared to train others and protect your company.

We'd like to thank our Sponsor for the month of April!
