Tom Minnink from The Business Council Of New York State will be presenting our annual HR Legislative briefing.  Tom will cover a summary of HR issues from the 2013 legislative session in Albany. The Governor passed a minimum wage initiative in the state budget as well as significant changes to unemployment insurance funding. He also promoted his Women’s Equality Act containing several employment law and pay equity components. How’d that work out? And let’s not forget about the “bullying” bill, mandated time off proposals, proposed limits on background checking for new employees, paid family leave, new “reasonable accommodation” proposals and more…

Hear about our HR advocacy efforts in 2013! Catch up on the latest.

Please join us for this information-filled session!
