Tom Hurbanek is a licensed insurance specialist in the areas of life, disability, long term care and retirement annuities. Protection is a natural fit for this 27 year Law Enforcement Veteran, who left college to join the New York State Police as a patrol Trooper in 1986. Mr. Hurbanek continued his education and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cornell University in 1989.
In 1997, he became the third member of the NYSP Computer Crime Unit, where he rose to the Rank of Senior Investigator, coordinating response activities to government agency and private sector incidents, and overseeing the administration of a statewide detail that supported over 500 local police agencies and federal partners.
Tom began his second career in 2006 when he became a licensed insurance agent and has spent the last 5 years working with the team at New York Long Term Care brokers to deliver insurance solutions to individuals and businesses.
