    Business Dinners, Lunch Interviews. Client Events. Coworker Socials.

    Today, business is not just conducted within the confines of an office. Business professionals must know how to conduct themselves and represent their company at the dining table and in other social settings.

    Brief review the purpose of having good manners while dining.
    - Discuss host/hostess responsibilities during the meal AND assign a host/hostess at each table.
    - Guest responsibilities.
    - Table posture considerations.
    - Basic American table settings
    - Need to know info about napkins
    - Proper use of utensils
    - During the meal (passing of dishes, salt/pepper, rolls)
    - Appropriate conversation

    Chicago native Brenda Moore-Frazier, founder of Signature Performance Image & Etiquette, LLC., former etiquette columnist for the Hudson Valley Connoisseur magazine (Gannett publication), co-author of Executive Image Power, and retired  speech and language pathologist with the Poughkeepsie City School District,  received her formal training at Elmhurst College where she earned a BS degree, and an MS degree at the University of Vermont. Her professional career in Vermont and New York, where she now resides, has spanned over 35 years.  Professional affiliations have included the Association for Image Consultants International (AICI), International Society of Protocol and Etiquette Professionals, the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the American Association of University Women.
