Are you interested in how Human Resources can be strategic? Come see how HR is a part of the development and implementation of employee-related programs that solve business problems and directly contribute to major long-term business objectives. What does it take for you in Human Resources to be a key strategic ally within your organization? This session will explore how our panelist are able to:
- Start with understanding what strategic HR means
- Discuss evaluating whether or not HR is a respected component of the organization,
- Identifying HR’s key role in contributing to a company’s strategic plan
- Articulate, design and deliver a solid HR strategy to add value to their organization.
- Understand and embrace the significance of being a strategic partner for your organization in terms of employee impact and their ability to think, feel and do
- Think about questions for your HR team about industry changes, employee expectations and the employer value proposition.
- Get excited about providing valuable and essential organizational dynamics information
- HR professionals can get things started by developing their own HR strategic plan that aligns and supports the overall business goals of the organization
- Working relationships between HR leaders and their counterparts in finance, technology, operations, learning, and the grooming of a next generation of leaders

These suits, and other interview appropriate wear, help mostly women to get the jobs they need to support themselves. You can park in the Donnelly lot which is the round building (see map https://ww2.marist.edu/security/pdfs/parkingmap.pdf )
with the greenhouse attached but then need to walk towards the river,
towards the tall dorm building call Champagne ( #3 on this map http://www.marist.edu/about/map.html )
then follow the sidewalk that forks to the right of the new addition (See photo below)
