The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) of 1974 is Federal Law that governs health and welfare benefit plans sponsored by employers, and sets uniform minimum standards to ensure they are established and maintained in a fair and financially sound manner.

ERISA reporting and employee disclosure violations can add up quickly, so it is crucial for employers to understand their various compliance requirements under the law. Join Dannielle Mattes as she provides an overview on the key provisions of ERISA that impact employers sponsoring group health plans, including covered benefits, notice and reporting requirements, classing/nondiscrimination rules, and other applicable laws.
