As courts increasingly impose liability on employers based on the action and inaction of supervisors and managers, it has become essential for employers to carefully select and train these individuals. This presentation will cover how to prepare and nurture supervisors and managers to advance organizational goals without creating liability, what HR should insure supervisors and managers know about legal issues, how to go about conveying this information, and the proper role of supervisors and managers in addressing common concerns, including FMLA triggers, accommodation requests and harassment complaints.
