    The Continuing Evolving Legal Landscape: A 2023 Update and Practical Pointers

    The workplace and workforce are changing.  The legal landscape is continuing to evolve on the federal and state level.  Have you developed a roadmap to address what is in store for 2023?  If not, you are in luck.  Jackson Lewis Principals Susan Corcoran and Rob Guidotti are providing a legal update on January 12th, with practical tips and next steps for addressing timely topics such as:

    Speakers: Robert J. Guidotti is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He counsels employers of varying sizes and industries in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including union grievances, representational campaigns, NLRB trials and other traditional labor matters.
    As a member of the Firm’s Transaction Services group, Rob works with clients to ensure material labor risks and requirements are considered, evaluated and appropriately addressed in a wide range of transactions, from small asset sales and business unit spin offs to multi-billion dollar stock acquisitions.
    Rob also counsels and provides training to organizations on items such as management best practices, wage and hour audits, discrimination claims, employee handbook policies and other preventive strategies.  

    Susan M. Corcoran is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis,
    P.C. Susan is a seasoned employment counselor and litigator and is often thought of as
    the “go to” person on national workplace law issues for her clients.
    She is a co-leader of the firm’s Background Checks group, and serves as a resource on
    fair credit reporting act issues, as well as “ban the box” strategies. She taught a graduate
    employment law class for many years at Manhattanville College and frequently speaks
    before different groups on a variety of workplace law issues. She had recently served
    two terms as NYS SHRM Legislative Director, successfully participating in lobbying
    efforts to overturn New York’s annual WTPA notice requirement.
    Within Jackson Lewis, she has been a leader in the firm’s diversity initiatives by acting as
    co-leader of its Women’s Interest Network (“WIN”).
    Susan is passionate about community service and her pro bono work.
