Millennials: Let’s give them what they need to be successful leaders!
Do you put your millennials in a box? Do you know what they want when it comes to being a more successful supervisor, manager or leader? Carol Heady will share her insight based on her own research and experiences with three cohorts, emerging leaders–millennials with two years or less of supervisory experience, millennials managing millennials and non-millennials (Gen X and Boomers) managing millennials.
Carol has sought to explore what strengths or attributes millennials bring to their leadership role, their greatest challenges and conflicts, the challenges of supervising millennials and if there was one thing they could have learned prior to becoming a supervisor to be a more successful leader what would that be?
There are some broad assumptions, perceptions and misconceptions about millennials. Carol’s presentation will prompt reflection, challenge us to think outside the “generational box” and create the opportunity to share experiences with interactive discussions.
