Ms. Jodie Castanza, M.A, presents "How to Support Transsexual Employee in the Workplace".

MHHRA will be doing a 50/50 raffle to support the SHRM Foundation. The SHRM Foundation is dedicated to fostering the development of HR professionals through scholarship programs and research funding. The Foundation awards more than 200 scholarships annually, providing HR practitioners opportunities to earn certifications and pursue graduate or undergraduate degrees.

About our Speakers:

Jodie Castanza currently serves as the Director for Campus Life LGBTQ and Gender Resources at Vassar College.  Jodie has been engaged in social justice education and leadership development work over the span of her nearly 25 year career in Higher Education. Jodie uses a compassionate dialogue based approach to education and training, and believes in challenging us all to learn and grow while supporting a process that opens us up rather than shutting us down.  Jodie teaches about creating Trans and Queer Affirming policies, practices and places so that all our staff and clients might live and engage to their fullest potential.  Jodie and her wife and two children relocated to the Poughkeepsie area two years ago from Western Massachusetts and are happy to call the Hudson Valley home.

Multipurpose Room which is on the second floor of  Main Building　

Park in the North Lot which is at the end of College View, which is one of the streets at the circle in front of My Market.　

From the North Lot walk along the sidewalk past the dorms to Main Building, which is the building in front of you at the end of the walkway.
